Working as a historian
We had lots of wonderful historians working in our class today! Each group of three was given an object from a period in history. We looked at objects from the Aztecs, World War 2, the Victorians, among other time periods. Some of us even got to try on a gas mask that Ms Travers' Grandad owned during World War 2!
At first, it was quite difficult to decide when the objects were from. However, we are very lucky that we have access to tablets in our classroom and after a little research we were soon on the right tracks. Once we had identified the time period which the item came from, we could use our tablets to research the era and to find out more information about the artefact and what it was used for.
When we finished our posters, we presented them to the class.
